You will have to register first to get a login (username/password) on the system. Since this is not straighforward to do if you can't read much Korea I provide these step by step instructions here to help you.

Go to the page above and click the first subcategory in the list on the far right and then one of the galleries in the list in the main (middle) screen. A page of maybe a dozen thumbnails should now present itself.

Click a photo and a pop-up comes up this is for login but look at the group of 4 buttons on the bottom left and the top right one (target has word "register" in it) is to regiser - click it and you go to a form you only have to fill in the fields that have a red marker on the left (first 6 or so)

(1)first is for your name

I think this is limited to 12 characters all the same it's fine to just write your ID (user login name) here (see below). There is also an option (2 check boxes the first one is selected) select the right hand option instead, ( this stops it checking the "jumin" thing below )

(2) second one is for your ID.

Use 4 to 10 characters and something that is bound to not exist already (eg, if your name was Jane you could put Jane124)

(3) 3rd field is for your password (4 to 10 characters)

(4) verify password - just enter your password again

(5) "jumin1/jumin2"

Don't know what this is as of writing but type some (any) characters in the first and second fields (as many as will fit 6 in the first box, 7 in the second). I don't think you need to put anything in if the check box at the top is changed but be on the safe side.

(6) e-mail - put your e-mail address in here

Now Click the "submit" button, it is at the bottom of the page where there are 2 or 3 buttons in a row and naturally it is the one on the left.

When the form is completed correctly (verificiation error bringhs up a javascript alert box - go back and correct the details) you get a confirmation box in the main screen, just click the left hand link in that and it goes back to the home page thereafter you can go to the photo page again and this time put your username in the first field and password in the second - this will allow you to view the pictures now.

This database seems to be really HUGE with many thousands of pictures in it so I hope you get a lot of enjoyment from it and learn more about DPR Korea here :)
